We have appropriated specific places in the city – spaces of mass media, designed for large cast iron bells and electromagnetic transmissions.
With the help of professional singers who master kulning, an old voice technique linked to herding culture, we have mapped the human voice opportunities in these rooms.
On May 29, 2011, we take place. We will establish the link we have created with the help of our voices – a chain of voices that are relentless, from tower to tower in Stockholm City.
Vi har intagit specifika rum i staden – de som byggts för att kommunicera massmedialt.
Platser som utformats för stora gjutjärnsklockor och elektromagnetiska sändningar. Med hjälp av professionella sångerskor som behärskar kulning, en gammal röstteknik som är kopplad till fäbodkultur, har vi kartlagt röstens möjligheter i dessa rum.
Den 29 maj 2011 äger vi rum. Då upprättar vi den länk vi skapat med hjälp av våra röster – en kedja av röster som avlöser varandra, från torn till torn i Stockholms stad.
